⸻ Sliding Patio Doors
Selecting the Ideal Sliding Door: Key Considerations for Your Home and Lifestyle
When it comes to selecting a door for your patio, several factors come into play, such as available space, functionality, and aesthetic preferences.
Our Norwood Aluclad Sliding Doors offer a seamless solution, gliding effortlessly along their own track. This unique design ensures that when the doors are open, they do not encroach on your patio or garden space, providing both convenience and aesthetic appeal.
⸻ Smooth & Effortless
How Do Lift and Slide Patio Doors Operate?
Our Sliding Patio Doors operate through a Lift & Slide mechanism that allows the door panels to be effortlessly lifted off their track, enabling smooth sliding movement.
When the door handle is turned upwards, special gearing inside the door lifts the sliding panel slightly off its track. With the panel lifted, it can now be effortlessly pushed sideways along the track. This smooth sliding motion makes it easy to open and close the door, even when dealing with large and heavy panels.
When the door is closed, turning the handle downward engages the locking mechanism. This secures the door in place and creates a tight seal to prevent drafts and enhance security.
⸻ Efficiency
